We all have a story to tell. Every story is different. Every story is the same. We all have hopes and dreams stirring inside of us and we’re all on a journey towards that end…we just take different roads to get there. Mine started out in Florida and has led me to Hazlehurst, Ga. A dream of being a middle school music teacher has led to my becoming a photographer. When faced with forks in the road or even minor turns, a friend of mine always says, “the decisions you make today can change your future.” It is in the small choice that we make every day that determine where we will go and who we will become.
For as long as I can remember I have had two loves in my life…Jesus and creativity. I am madly, passionately in love with my God. He is my one desire, the only reason that I breath. Everything else is simply a means of getting closer and closer to Him. I absolutely love that the Creator of the universe made me in His own image…there is Creativity in me and in you. Whether it’s music or photography…I just love to create. There’s always something new to discover.
So why photography? There is something amazing about capturing the beauty of a newborn baby held tightly in his mom’s arms, or the wonder of a toddler as she takes in everything she sees, or the wonder of a senior as they are taking that huge step into the future. I love to capture those moments…the ones that slip away oh so suddenly.
